The FNAA welcomes, as regular members, registered nurses and nurse practitioner’s practicing or having an interest in any nursing area that is concerned with legal issues such as: sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, emergency nursing, critical care nursing, pediatric nursing, correctional nursing, psychiatric nursing, geriatric nursing, death investigations, nurse attorneys, legal nurse consultants, nurse consultants, nurse educators and/or researchers.

The FNAA also welcomes associate members, non-RN’s, who are interested in and support the development of forensic nursing. This includes physicians, physician assistants, social workers, criminologists, law enforcement officials, attorneys, paramedic/emergency medical technicians as well as other interested professionals.
